Another one powerful psychedelic stoner doom from Ukraine!
Группа Bomg сформировалась в феврале 2010 года,когда Николай(гитара),Юрий(бас – гитара) и Артём(ударные) решили поиграть stoner doom.Буквально через несколько репетиций группа записала две демки.С того времени группа нарабатывает материал,но по причине того,что в составе пока нет вокалиста,процесс пока замедлился.
Следующие записи планируются более высокого качества и с вокалом.

Jet Plane “Shelled” 2010
This just a wonderful band from Bryansk,perform crystal melodic post-rock.In their musical pictures have a place psychedelic moods and sometimes hard guitar drive.All music is instrumental except one track there you have listen dialogue of heroes from film “Before sunrise” by Richard Linklater.
In my opinion this album one of top 10 russian albums of this year.

Stoned Jesus – First Communion 2010
STONED JESUS emerged as KROBAK’s side-project, dealing with heavier and darker side of rock-music. Beginning with sludgy post-metal blueprints, it shaped into a full-time band, becoming musically closer to stoner-rock and traditional doom in vein of early BLACK SABBATH. Their first LP contains fuzzy sabbathian epics filled with catchy riffs, Hendrix-like guitar solos and classy vocals.
“Для многих людей в Европе и США группа Black Sabbath приобрела непоколебимый культовый статус, а развитием идей, заложенных на самом первом альбоме этой великой команды, занимается неисчислимое множество последователей. И, надо сказать, занимается весьма удачно. Чего только стоят произведения групп Electric Wizard, Sleep, Cathedral, Grief, EyeHateGod…
У нас же в Украине подобное движение только начинается, но за последние пару лет появилось несколько коллективов, достойных пристального внимания. Ортодоксальные сладжеры Mozergush, травокуры Kasu Weri, мизантропично-похоронные сладжеры-нигилисты Forever Wasted – все эти группы перерабатывают идеи Black Sabbath в более современном, сверхтяжёлом ракурсе, основываясь, кроме прочего, и на опыте вышеупомянутых западных групп.
Stoned Jesus же, выступая в формате классического power trio, напротив, преподносят идеи Black Sabbath в их первозданной форме – форме тяжёлого, замедленного хард-рока. На альбоме всего четыре композиции, но при средней продолжительности в 10 минут этого вполне достаточного, тем более что каждая из них очень индивидуальна, несмотря на очевидную “читаемость” и использование формулы проверенной временем и не одним десятком групп аналогичной стилевой направленности.
Проверенные концертами хиты “Occult” и “Black Woods”, где припевы стабильно подхватывает большая половина зала, а концентрация саббатовского риффажа достигает просто таки критической отметки, знакомы многим ещё с демо-записи группы, но на альбоме они наконец-то были профессионально записаны. Очень к месту прибавил в сочности звук гитары и баса.
Новые композиции альбома практически ни в чём не уступают упомянутым выше концертным фаворитам: лирично-ироничная “Red Wine” очень удачно и ненавязчиво высмеивает темы металлических баллад про “вампирскую любовь”, не теряя при этом своей рок-составляющей и потенциальной концертной хитовости, а завершающий монструозный эпик “Falling Apart” тяготеет к стоунер-думовому наследию Sleep, завораживая слушателя мерным покачивающим ритмом, задвинутым на задний план вокалом и психоделическими гитарными соло.
Сольные гитарные партии альбома вообще отдельный разговор – настолько приятных мелодичных партий гитары в отечественном стоунер-думе до сих пор практически не было. За что вокалисту и гитаристу Игорю “Prog-Jester” Сидоренко отдельное большое спасибо. Но не только ему одному. В последней вещи есть “гостевые соло”. Раскрывать имён не будем, пусть это будет для вас сюрпризом.
Басист Николай “Kobold” Соляр и барабанщик Александр Серый так же оказались “в теме” – они отлично и со вкусом справились со своими партиями, сыграв всё по канонам и с пониманием особенностей дума и стоунер-дума как жанра: соблюдая размеренность и глубину звука ритм-секции – чуть ли не важнейшей составляющей в звучании подобной музыки.
Словом, дебютный альбом удался. Настолько, что и зарубежные слушатели, более искушённые в разнообразии стоунер-думовых групп, скорее всего, оценят его по достоинству, ведь главные составляющие успеха – хитовый материал и собственное лицо – у Stoned Jesus определённо есть.
Альбом выходит этим летом на российском лейбле Solitude Prod., так что все желающие без труда смогут его приобрести.”

Acid Floriani is a group from Krasnoyarsk. Established in 2010. At the moment this is a trio.
Music is a very atmospheric mix of psychedelic, garage, experimental rock, free jazz. The structure of Acid Floriani represents the free and improvisational music form, with a large share of the experiment, and clearly trance mood.
Inspired by the music of psychedelic rockers from turbulent 60s, and krautrock.
Group holds vintage and dirty sound recordings, recording only live jams without any treatment.
Acid Floriani is an attempt to break the stagnant musical canon in recent years. This is an attempt to immerse themselves and the listener into another state of mind, without the use of drugs which expands consciousness.

Eduard Artemiev “Pictures-moods” 1976-83
Artemyev was born in Novosibirsk and studied at the Moscow Conservatory under Yuri Shaporin. His interest in electronic music and synthesizers began after his graduation in the 1960, when electronic music was still in its infancy. He wrote his first composition in 1967 on one of the first synthesizers, the ANS synthesizer developed by the Soviet engineer Evgeny Murzin. He was thus one of the first composers and a pioneer of electronic music. His collaboration with the film director Andrei Tarkovsky in the 1970s made him well-known. He wrote the film scores for Tarkovsky’s Solaris, Zerkalo and Stalker. Later he also wrote film scores for films by Andrei Konchalovsky and Nikita Mikhalkov. His film scores and his music received several awards, including three Nika Awards. Recently, he ceded several pieces from the Solaris soundtrack to use them in the upcoming Spanish production The Cosmonaut.

Aesthesys “Cold Light Of Skies That Never Existed” 2009
Aesthesys is a russian musical project, which has found its gap in a relatively new genre of modern music known to many as post-rock. Nonetheless the creator and so far the only member of this project Nickholas Koniwzski finds it hard to confine himself to the limits of one genre and eagerly experiments with the whole musical palette, drawing ambient, neoclassical and other features. Already on the first released album [2008-Demo] the 14 tracks are particoloured with myriads of textures and sound effects, fractions of chamber music and moulds of electronic pieces. Despite such a rich variety of expression methods the material is full of sense and meaning, making the listener soar from the depths of existentional desperation up to impalpable joy. The project disposes 3 albums so far.
